Ending homelessness takes the whole community.

Experiencing homelessness is traumatic, for individuals, families, and the community. Northern Colorado is committed to making homelessness rare, short-lived, and non-reoccurring so that all of our neighbors have the opportunity to thrive.

Housing Solves Homelessness

The causes and experience of homeless are complex, but the solution is straightforward. We need to house people. The Northern Colorado Continuum of Care (NoCO CoC) supports a coordinated community-wide system capable of quickly connecting people experiencing homelessness to permanent housing and supportive services.

We Can Reach Functional Zero

Northern Colorado has been a Built for Zero Community since 2019. We incorporate tried and true system improvement strategies that aligns quality, real-time data, local planning, and regional planning to reach Functional Zero homelessness. We will reach Functional Zero when the number of people experiencing homelessness at any one time does not exceed our community's proven record of housing at least that many people in a month.
